We travelled to Urupukapuka in the Bay of Islands – New Zealand for the first time in the summer of 2025. I went off to explore the island and climbed down the cliffs, which are usually only accessible by boat. There is both sand and rocky coastline, seaweed and very clear water. It is an amazing place if you’re lucky enough to be able to make your way over to the island. I was stoked with how this painting came out and it is a great example of the area and topography. A spot that is hard to beat on a calm and clear summer’s day.
Print comes unframed and is 1118mm x 892mm which includes a white border around each edge.
Prints are rolled in tissue paper and sent in thick cardboard tubes. Prints are couriered via NZ Post which includes courier insurance. It is preferable to frame paper prints as soon as possible.
Urupukapuka has a limited edition of 50. All prints are numbered and signed.
