| The Mount beach is one of the country’s most popular and for good reason. Many will recognise Mauao (The Mount) but I was drawn to the area around, the less recognisable, (to some), Moturiki Island in this painting. The see-through waves and dappled sand were a beautiful calm change from the larger surf which can be normally found there. The Mount beach at its best. | |
